Duration — 12/10/2018 to 6/10/2019 Temp to Permanent – Temp/Train for 3 to 6 months then permanent afterwards. When permanent you will work from home (telecommute).
Hours — Full time Training hours are 8: 30 AM to 5: 30 PM Monday to Saturday for the first Month of your Paid Training. You cannot take a day off during the first month of training. If the manager needs you to work past 5: 30 PM during training you have to be able to do that. After the first month of training the manager will assign you the shift of Monday to Friday 11: 30 AM to 8: 00 PM and 2 Saturdays a month which will be rotational. Saturday hours are 10: 00 AM to 6: 00 PM
The call center site hours are: 8: 30 AM - 8: 00 PM M-F and 10: 00 AM - 6: 00 PM on Saturday' s. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours between 8AM to 8PM.
Pay - $14.46   per hour for English and Bengali or Chinese(Mandarin)  or  Creole or Korean or Russian or Spanish  speakers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Telecommuter experience preferred. Associate' s degree preferred, HS diploma required; 1 year direct experience with developmentally disabled, familiarity with care plans/services rendered; knowledge of the community to be served; experience making presentations to groups; ability to follow directions; ability to handle pressure; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
TELECOMMUTER PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project uses advanced technology to allow employees to perform their daily responsibilities from remote locations. Telecommuting is a work alternative that may be appropriate for some employees and some jobs. It is not an entitlement; it is not a companywide benefit; and it does not change the terms and conditions of employment. Please note that telecommuters who are Client Service Representatives (CSR) with the Call Center have traditionally been referred to as Home-Based Counselors (HBC). The term Telecommuter and HBC both refer to staff that are permanently established to perform all of their essential job functions from their home environment. In this agreement, the term HBC is replaced by Telecommuter. Advantages to the corporation are: § Lessens the potential impact of a disaster that blocks access to the Broad Street Location by allowing call-takers to receive calls at various remote locations. Frequent disaster scenario simulations will be performed to assure a high level of readiness § May allow employees with long and short-term disabilities to perform their normal job functions at home or at a conveniently located downtown, NYC location; Improves retention of valued staff, by allowing high performing employees to work-from-home on a long or short-term basis § Improves flexibility with extending shift hours (when needed) or shift changes § Allows for call sharing with other Contact Centers on a short or long term basis § Improves competitive advantage by showing present and future customers that the technology is in place to benefit from the above advantages
