RN Nurse Manager direct hire position for one of our preffered clients!

JOB PURPOSE
This position oversees activity for the Independent Entity and provides leadership to a team of clinical and QA staff. The position is highly visible and interfaces with the Client, as well local resources. The Director works closely with the Department of Health (DOH) and is responsible for hosting meetings with the DOH to update on any operation issues, policy changes or programmatic changes, as directed by the DOH.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develops project plans and provides direction and guidance to project staff, individually and in teams, to support a successful IE program and to achieve quality assurance goals
  2. Collaborates with the Project Leadership in designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive Quality Assurance Policy and Plan that effectively monitors and measures the NYS Uniform Assessment System (UAS) and the pre-evaluation processing in MAXeb
  3. Responsible for management and oversight of project business units and resources, ensuring compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  4. Oversees quality control and implements any necessary corrective actions to ensure consistent application of all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures pertinent to the program
  5. Assist with issues and risk management, and participates in mitigation and contingency actions to address Education: Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum, 2 or more years of clinical experience in behavioral health required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
  6. Work experience in pediatrics and/or with the Office of Mental Health (OMH); work experience serving the SPMI / SED population (seriously persistently mentally ill / seriously emotionally disturbed); work experience with program design, process development
  7. Proven leadership ability; proven ability to work with community groups; effectively manage large-scale projects; demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; ability to work as a team member, as well as independently; ability to effectively use MS Office products;
